Bridge 335 - Loughborough, Leicestershire

Bridge 335 - Loughborough, Leicestershire

Go back to the records from the Loughborough South map.
L2161. Looking north towards Loughborough Central Station at the girder bridge that carries Beeches Road across the Great Central preserved line. The bridge's number, 335, can be seen painted on the west abutment. However, according to plans drawn soon after the Railway's completion, this was initially bridge 334. Since the small girder structure that was originally bridge 335 now no longer exists, the sequence has clearly since been amended.
