Quorn & Woodhouse Station, Leicestershire

Quorn & Woodhouse Station, Leicestershire

Go back to the records from the Loughborough South map.
L2142. Looking west across the disused sidings towards the platform buildings at Quorn & Woodhouse Station, photographed almost six years after the Railway's closure. In common with many other Last Main Line stations, provision had been made here for an extensive goods yard. However, despite these two sidings never having been fully utilised, the Great Central preserved line has since found this to be a very useful feature of the Station's design.
