L2126. This girder section formed part of bridge 350, one of two viaducts which were constructed to take the London Extension over Swithland Reservoir. By the time this photograph was taken in February 1978, the Great Central preserved line had ensured that trains continue to run across this, one of the most picturesque sections of the Last Main Line.
