L2003. This photograph was taken looking south-east from the Great Central embankment, just north of the old Whetstone Station site, in May 1977. Rooftops of the houses on Victoria Road are overshadowed by the towering spire of St. Peter's Parish Church that rises in the distance. Note the former lineside hut that has been moved from the railway into a nearby garden.
