L2000. Bridge 398 on Station Street in Whetstone was made up of two parallel girder spans on brick abutments, with access to Whetstone Station being provided via an entrance in the centre of the right-hand (southern) abutment. This May 1977 view was taken looking south from one of the lattice bridge parapets and the former entrance, now bricked up, can be seen in the abutment below. Today in 2003, this bridge no longer exists.
