L1984. A close up view of the north face of the three-arched skewed Bridge 407 in May 1977. The bridge, built to carry the Lutterworth Road (now the A426) over the railway, appears to still be good condition although some of the brickwork is missing from the right-hand side of this arch. The afternoon sun on the bridge highlights the twisted brickwork to good effect in this photograph. In 2003 the bridge still stands, complete with a new northern parapet. The cutting on the other side of the bridge has been filled in as part of a land fill site.
