Bridge 411 near Ashby Magna in Leicestershire.

Bridge 411 near Ashby Magna in Leicestershire.

Go back to the records from the Dunton Bassett map.
L1978. A side-on view of the three-arched occupation Bridge 411, looking north in May 1977. The two running lines ran beneath the central arch of the bridge, which was designed so that extra lines could be laid through the side arches if required. The trackbed is still very clear, yet the cutting sides have a fair covering of foliage. The bridge itself appears to still be in very good condition.
