L1965. Bridge 416 was a small girder, occupation underbridge built in the Gilmorton Parish of Leicestershire. Like many of the similar bridges on the London Extension, Bridge 416 had a criss-cross lattice parapet that still survives in this May 1977 view. From this angle, it is almost impossible to tell that there is no longer a railway going across the bridge. Both ends of the bridge span are fenced and gated, as were many of the others when the London Extension was first constructed. | |
