The site of Lutterworth Station

The site of Lutterworth Station

Go back to the records from the Lutterworth map.
L1949. Looking north towards Bridge 423 and the old Lutterworth Station site in June 1977. The trackbed is grass covered and the station has been eradicated. However, the parapets of Bridge 423 still stand along with two short sections of the old platform on either side of the central box parapet. Without the bridge, this scene would look like an ordinary plot of pasture with no trace that there ever was a railway here.
