L1838. Built by Logan & Hemingway as part of Contract No.1 (Annesley to Leake), this is the girder underbridge that carried the Last Main Line across the Rushcliffe to Bunny Road. Apart from the coping stones missing from the right wing wall, this structure appears complete. Sadly, the identity of the figure standing on the bridge is unknown.
