L1762. Looking towards Soar Lane from Jarvis Street in the summer of 1959. The two men on the right of the photograph are standing by business premises located in an arch of the Leicester viaduct, upon which the city's Great Central Station was built. The property on the left was demolished shortly after this picture was taken.
