L1620. Girder underbridge built to carry the London Extension over Braunstone Lane, Aylestone, Leicester, circa 1897. The water in the foreground is the River Soar. Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton was the contractor who built this section of the Last Main Line (Contract No.2 Leake to Aylestone).
