L1569. 4-4-0 Class 11A Main Line passenger engine '867', designed by Harry Pollitt. Note the Great Central Railway crest on the splasher. The man at the centre of the photograph is the Shedmaster of Woodford Halse Loco Depot, and he poses here with his staff.
