L1521. Inside Whitehouse Farm tunnel on the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line, Buckinghamshire, circa 1905. With the permanent way laid and the ballast packed, this part of the line appears ready for traffic. Work on this later section of the London Extension (Northolt Junction to High Wycombe) was carried out by Pauling & Co. of Westminster.
