L1125. A short row of terraced, three storey houses adjacent to the Great Western and Great Central Railways' line in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The photograph shows the line between High Wycombe and Loudwater and was constructed as part of the Northolt Junction to High Wycombe Contract awarded to Pauling & Co. of Westminster. The house in the foreground displays advertising claiming 'Cheapest House for Paper Hangings, E Meaners Brooks, Oxford Road, Wycombe'. A collection of large bricks in the foreground indicate that further railway construction work is ongoing.
