Byfield Station, Northamptonshire

Byfield Station, Northamptonshire

L2530  This is the Stratford & Midland Junction Railway's station at Byfield, Northamptonshire, photographed from the road bridge looking west. The building on the left is the shed belonging to Haycock and Russell Coal, Corn and Coke Merchants. Passengers travelling the opposite way, towards the Great Central, would head south east before being able to join the London Extension just south of Hinton. Note the Midland Railway's mineral wagon.
