Bridge 418 near Bitteswell in Leicestershire. | |

| L1960 A side-on view of the three-arched Bridge 418, looking north in May 1977. The two running lines ran beneath the central arch of the bridge, which was designed so that extra lines could be laid through the side arches if required. The trackbed is still quite clear and shows signs of use as a footpath, yet the cutting sides have a thick covering of foliage. The bridge itself is still in good condition as it carries a well used road. | |
